Web Design Tips

Hi,

  My name is Tony Blighe (that's me on the left of the picture). I've been in the computer business for 25 years and the internet business for ten. 

  I've learned is that there are certain things in web design and marketing that work and other things that don't. This website is my personal take on the best way to maximise the benefit of your website to your business.

  There's no point in having a website just to put a "tick in the box" or impress your friends. A website must bring tangible results to your business or it's a waste of time, money and energy. A poor website can actually be worse than no website if it does not reflect the high standards that you apply to other aspects of your business.

  I am always pleased to be asked questions and will try to answer these and include the reply on this website. You'll appreciate that I cannot enter into a protracted dialogue.

  Why did I produce this website? I run 123live, a web design company providing professional business websites that can be easily updated. I found that our website was getting rather weighed down with general help and advise about website design and website marketing, so I built this website to be a non-commercial source of free help and advice for small business owners.
